Bear Of A Lifetime

Jason Say

Jason Say's Bio:

Jason Say, Co-Host of Wired Outdoors, www.WiredOutdoors.com, makes the show tick. Jason grew up in northwest Pennsylvania learning to hunt everything from small game to whitetail. He now travels all over the country in pursuit of whitetail, turkey, caribou, elk, bear and more with his bow and rifle. Jason says, “I am truly blessed with a beautiful wife, son and daughter. My job takes a tremendous amount of time and travel and the hardest part is always being away from my family. The most rewarding thing for me being involved in the outdoors is handing down my traditions to my children. I truly believe this is one of the greatest rewards of being a father.”

Thought I would stop by and let everyone know about my recent bear hunt in northern Alberta.  I have been on several bear trips and this year I had a couple of goals.  The first was to shoot a color phase bear, the second, was to shoot a very big bear.  To make a long story short, both my goals were accomplished beyond my wildest dreams.

First Color Phase Bear of The Trip with my trusty All Weather Plano Bow Case

On the first night of the hunt I was able to harvest a smaller color phase bear.  This was actually the first color phase I have seen  and was thrilled to be taking him home.  So with goal number one accomplished, we set out to shoot a BIG bear.  Who would have thought that only on the second night this giant color phase and bear of a lifetime stepped out.  You can see this entire show this year on Wired Outdoors, www.WiredOutdoors.com.
