Shannon Gillette and Plano

Shannon Gillette's Bio:

Shannon Gillette, born in Ohio, raised in Indiana, embodies a true Midwestern spirit. She learned to love the outdoors growing up on farm, watching her dad hunt and hearing her grandfather’s stories about his love for the great outdoors as the owner of a fishing and archery resort in Ohio. When not hunting or fishing she enjoys shooting outdoor 3-D archery and competing at the National and World level. She has been able to incorporate techniques from her profession as a massage therapist in competition, “Relaxation, deep breathing, and a positive attitude can benefit everyone, no matter what your goals in life might be” Shannon says. “Put your mind to it, and anything is possible!” She is also a certified Archery Instructor and enjoys teaching youth archery lessons and working in her dad’s archery shop. She enjoys traveling and meeting people from all over the country. “You have to have fun on the hunt, enjoy the communities you visit, swap hunting stories, and make lifetime friendships. I encourage both women and youth to join the ranks of those that hunt and enjoy the outdoors, it can be your passion too!”
