I first started shooting archery as a child for the fun and the experience it gave. As I grew older, it was practice for the upcoming hunting season. After I learned about 3D, which was good for hunting situation practice, I started to enjoy archery more and more. I started to like being around the people, listening and learning more about the sport.
Around 2002, I started to shoot competition 3D, and really enjoyed it. From that day forward, I have spent countless hours practicing, training, and devoting my time to the sport I truly enjoy. During my experiences with multiple organizations and clubs, including setting out ranges, blazing trails, running shoots, and of course shooting, I have gotten to know the archery community very well.
I have made numerous posts on archery forums about products I truly believe in and encourage my fellow shooters in many ways. I take time to help anyone I can, including my fiancée and my 6 year old son, to learn the sport of archery. I offer to tell them how to invest in equipment that will best help them, based upon my experience. I help them with set up, and how to best use their equipment. If anyone has a problem with their equipment, I do my best to give them contact numbers to the company, and let them know that the company will get right on the problem. I also try to emphasize to my son and others about wildlife conservation, respect to others, as well as, sportsmanship. |
