Parts may be
available for discontinued
models for a few months
to a few years, depending
on the model and the
available parts.
When calling about repair
parts please have the
box in question with
you when you call, so
we can determine the
exact model in order
to provide the correct
parts. Call our
Consumer Customer care
department at 800-226-9868
Q:
How large are the individual
compartments in the
stowaways?
A: We suggest
taking the overall size
of the stowaway and
dividing it by the number
of "slots" thus providing
a approximate size of
each compartment (does
not work for all stowaways).
Q:
Where can I find
purchase your product?
A:
Since we are
unable to keep track
of inventory at a retail
level we suggest that
they contact the closest
retailer to see if they
would have the specific
item that they are interested
in.
Q:
How do I join
Plano’s Pro Staff?
A:
To be considered
for Plano’s Pro-Staff,
email your fishing resume
to our Marketing Manager,
Douglas Riewski, at
driewski@planomolding.com
Q:
I am having trouble
removing the label?
A:
Heat the labels
with a hair-dryer to
activate and soften
the adhesive and label
will peel off.
Using a lubricant such
as WD-40 can also aid
in the removal of stubborn
labels.
Q:
Are your products
made of PVC?
A:
There are no
PVC resins used in the
hard sided plastic storage
containers that Plano
Molding Company produces.
Q:
Are your tackle
boxes worm-proof?
A:
Though plastics
we use in tackle boxes
today will not physically
melt, the strong chemicals
used by soft bait manufacturers
can cause the compartments
and containers to warp
excessively.
Because of this, it
is strongly suggested
that soft baits remain
in the original packaging.
