Suzanne Brown from
MN, US
Sue Brown was born and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire. She met her husband Tom, while attending college in Boston. Her first experience in wetting a line came in the summer of 1966 during a visit to Minnesota. Since that time, Sue has developed her fishing, promotional and seminar skills to a level of proficiency reached by few others! Sue and Tom Brown have gone on to become one of the best known husband and wife fishing teams on the Pro circuit as well as establishing outstanding records as individuals.
Sue joined WAM (Women Anglers of Minnesota) in 1986 and has worked sport shows and kid's fishing clinics on a regular basis. She is past W.A.M. Treasurer and served on the Minnesota Sport Fishing Congress for one year. Sue has also been lead instructor of "On-Lake Fishing" for the DNR's Becoming an Outdoors Woman (B.O.W.) program.
Sue is known as a very consistent angler with a number of trophies to her credit. She has fished the Minaki Summer Classic, In-Fisherman PWT, the Wave Wacker Invitational, the MWC, NAWA, Gary Roach Pro-Am Invitational Tournament and the Red Lake Fall Classic and has qualified for the RCL Walleye Championship. She is a competitive angler and a favorite on the pro fishing circuit.
